After surviving the killer shore break at our first surf beach venture of the trip (in a French town called Anglet on the Atlantic side!), the smaller beaches of Biarritz suited us fine...
The atmosphere seems to live up to it´s name! It´s got that cruisy, surfy vibe, yet also a hint of the French sophistication!
We could also sense how close we were to Spain... All of a sudden certain familiar items were popping up on the drinks menu... We had to take a detour to see if the Frenchies knew how to brew up a decent Sangria!!
Four O´Clock today tried to concentrate on shape and form once again, as well as a few more personal details, i.e. sand on feet, local street art, combi-van decorations, etc.
This was our first taste of the "Basque" country, though we weren´t fully aware of what it meant... We headed off to San Sebastian (yes!! we crossed the border into Spain!) and set up camp for a slightly cooler and windier night!
